Baptist Lay Leaders Network

At the Baptist Pastors & Lay leaders Conference 2003, 32 lay leaders representing 11 Baptist churches agreed that a circle of like-minded friends serving the Lord would be a tremendous platform of resource and encouragement. The Baptist Lay Leaders Network (BLLN), embraced and supported by Baptist churches, is strategically positioned to act as a catalyst in creating opportunities for lay leaders to come together and spur one another towards excellent service for the Lord. 

BLLN aims to be an effective platform for: 
*  Sharing resources and information to help sharpen skills and widen perspectives;
*  Encouraging and spurring one another within a shared Spiritual Kingdom;
*  Learning from one another and tapping on each other’s strength;
*  Launching meaningful and lasting friendships.

Regular activities and programmes are organised to address the expressed needs of the churches and lay leaders, provide learning opportunities and to build friendships amongst Baptist lay leaders.

Such activities include:

*  Seminars on contemporary issues with Scriptural response;
*  Fellowship outings and field trips
*  Dialogue with Pastors
*  Learning about good practices of other churches
*  Sharing about need and challenge for collaboration
*  Leadership and ministry development
