2. Baptist Centre - Update
The continuing journey in acquiring the Baptist Centre for the Convention and the Baptist Theological Seminary is exciting and holds many challenges to experience God for real. We are comforted to know that this is in step with the Lord’s blessing upon the Baptist community and holds great potential for new opportunities to obey Him in fulfilling the Great Commission of our Commander in Chief, the Lord Jesus Christ. We have sent out flyers to member churches requesting them to hand them out to church members. The flyers contain useful information about the Baptist Centre and a response slip requesting for donations. We appeal for another round of generous donations from Baptists for our very own Baptist Centre. Church members are encouraged to channel their donations and response slips to through their churches. Cheques should be made out to “Singapore Baptist Convention – Baptist Centre” and if mailed to us, please include your name and address for us to mail you the official receipt.
In September and October, staff from the Executive Committee and BTS are going around member churches to present the needs and challenges of the Baptist Centre. We value your partnership in prayers for the Lord to guide the Singapore Baptist community in this defining moment to secure a permanent home for BTS and to seize the rare opportunity of building a synergistic relationship with the Convention to serve the Baptist community, in Singapore and the region.

4. Combined Baptist Youth Camp: Gospel Undone; 27-30 Dec 2011 @ Pulai Springs Resort, Johor Bahru
The Gospel is the power of God unto salvation. It is the modus operandi for our lives and directs our life-paths. Life in Christ begins and continues for eternity IN the Gospel. It is not just a message that needs to be told or believed at one’s salvation. Encourage your youth to come and experience what it takes to be gripped, shaped and equipped by the Gospel for a life-time transformation. It is also a wonderful opportunity to gain new friends from other Baptist churches. The theme speaker is Mr Lim Chien Chong, National Director of Singapore Youth for Christ.
The combined Baptist Youth Camp is organized by a group of Baptist youths from different churches who are passionate to bring Baptist youths together to celebrate and experience the joy and dynamic relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. Several of our Youth Pastors act as their mentors.
Registration can be made through your church or via online at http://gospelundone.blogspot.com/ 112 youths from 7 churches had already done so. Join them!
