Baptist Distinctive provides biblical convictions on what we believe and how we function, patterned after the New Testament church. The importance of holding on to our Baptist Distinctive is not to differentiate us as better than our brethren from the other denominations of God’s Kingdom. Baptist Distinctive helps Baptist churches to be faithful to our theological heritage and appreciate our founders for their faith and spiritual insight. The main components of the Baptist Distinctive are: 1. The Supreme Authority of the Bible 2. The Congregational Nature of the Church 3. The Priesthood of All Believers 4.
