The Migrant Ministry (MM) of the Singapore Baptist Convention, also known as the Foreign Workers Ministry, regularly conducts activities with the purpose of demonstrating Christ’s love to the migrant workers in Singapore (including workers from China, India, Bangladesh among other countries), by serving our neighbours and paving the way for migrant workers to encounter the Gospel.
We are looking for volunteers to join the team and serve in the following ministry areas:
- Event Volunteers: Assist in organizing outdoor activities or festive celebrations, helping with hospitality and coordination.
- Visitation Team: Join monthly visits to migrant worker dormitories in Kaki Bukut (every last Thursday evening of the month) for fellowship and blood pressure checks.
- Health Screening: Participate in occasional health screenings at dormitories, measuring BMI, blood sugar, and blood pressure.
- Others: ESL (English as a Second Language) teachers, fitness instructors, physiotherapists, hobby class instructors (e.g. crafts, music, etc.).
