A Common Vision & Mission to Advance the Gospel
Words have great influential power. They crystallize perception, shape our belief, drive our behaviour, and ultimately change us. Spoken words are easily forgotten. Written words enable retentive memory and offer a valuable reference resource. This is why authors write books to reach a larger audience and to offer insights that last.

APPRECIATING & NURTURING SMALL CHURCHES
by Rev Dr Richard Loh (Senior Pastor, Eternal Life Baptist Church)

Majority of the churches in the world are small, defined as those with less than 250 worshippers. The book discusses the unique strengths that small churches possess, notwithstanding some inherent downsides of being small. Pastors and lay leaders are encouraged to make the most use of these advantages.

Rev Dr Richard Loh who had pastored large and small churches shares his experience to correct the misgivings about small churches and believes that good things still do come in small packages.

FATHER LEADERSHIP
by Rev Dr Thomas Chin (Former President of BTS Singapore, and Former Pastor of Thomson Road Baptist Church)

Most leadership books focus on skills and performance. It is refreshing to read one that focuses on the heart. Father Leadership, the latest book by Rev Dr Thomas Chin, calls for attention to establish a leader-follower relationship based on love and on people. A ‘Father Leader’ leads not because the follower is useful but because he is precious. A follower follows the ‘Father Leader’ not because he needs to, but because he wants to.

Rev Dr Thomas Chin has served as a Pastor at Sandakan Baptist Church, Fettes Park Baptist Church and Thomson Road Baptist Church, and was former President of the Singapore Baptist Theological Seminary. Currently he is the Director of the Pastor Renewal and Research Centre of Malaysia BTS.
