TO GOD BE THE GLORY!
All glory to God whose faithfulness we have seen through all generations. I am honoured to share in His faithfulness shown to the Women’s Department of the Singapore Baptist Convention for the past 50 years.
Since it first started by some faithful sisters who saw the need of praying together for Singapore churches and for one another, it has now extended to praying for missions locally and globally. As such, our World Day of Prayer (WDOP) to pray for the seven Continents would indeed continue as long as God is willing.
“…not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” (Hebrews 10:25; NIV)
It is with this verse in mind that I hope we must not give up meeting and praying together for one another. May God continue to bless the Women’s Department in seeing more sisters gather together celebrating His goodness and mercy day by day.
Jesus said, “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” I pray and believe that our Baptist sisters will know where to place our treasures so that God is pleased with us.
Sisters, let us arise and shine for Christ as the Women’s Department of the Singapore Baptist Convention continues to serve our faithful God faithfully in this prayer ministry. Our God deserves all our praise and His name endures forever!
荣耀归于神!
一切荣耀归于那位，以信实眷顾每个世代的神。
无比感恩能够分享，并经历神一路来带领新加坡浸信会妇女部事工，见证欢庆50周年！
这是由一批敬虔的姐妹发起，旨在为新加坡众教会同心、齐声向全能的神呼求、祷告、彼此守望的事工，目前已延伸到为本地和海外宣教及七大洲公祷日代祷。
“你们不可停止聚会，好像那些停止惯了的人，倒要彼此劝勉，既知道那日子临近，就更当如此。”（希伯来书10:25）
希望这节经文能激励姐妹们彼此勉励，坚持聚会、相互代求。愿神继续保守妇女部事工，引领更多姐妹在一起，常常数算神的恩典，诉说神的良善与怜悯。
耶稣说：“你的财宝在哪里，你的心也在哪里。”我们祈祷，也深信，浸信会姐妹都知晓该把财宝放在哪里，讨神的喜悦。
姐妹们，让我们为基督兴起、发光，让新加坡浸信会妇女部继续以忠心代祷来服侍这位信实的神。
