The Women’s Missionary Union (WMU) recently held their annual ‘Mission Awareness and Day of Prayer’ event on 6 July 2024 at Evangel Baptist Church.
Mrs Ee Tze Theresa Lam, wife of Rev Lam Yuen Foong of Thomson Road Baptist Church, was invited to speak at the event with the topic, ‘Finding our Identity, Passion and Calling Afresh!’. She shared about her passionate involvement with her church’s mission and outreach ministries, even after her retirement. She inspired many present at the meeting with her stories and experiences of tirelessly using her gifting and passion for God’s work in the church, such as conducting sewing classes and Mandarin classes.
